Photo%26#039;s of Baby%26#039;s Dressed up as an Animal or a flower?
are you talking about Ann Geddes work?
Reply:There are seveal locations that do the Anne Geddes style photo%26#039;s, but a little hard to provide further help without knowing a little more about where you are located.
Reply:People come into Boots and Mothercare on certain days and take them. They provide the costumes (I think) They have posters up saying when they will be around next.

Reply:I like it, my friend Rachel always keeps it in her room. I would, but I hate watering them and moving them when they die.

My baby swallowed a dime size piece of hard plastic. what should i do?

My baby swallowed a piece of hard plastic, which broke off a toonie sized flower shaped hanging keychain The piece which I think she swallowed is smaller than a dime, and not sharp from what i can feel on the piece of the flower which is remaining. She seems to be fine. Not coughing or wheezing. Nothing like that. So i think it went down without a battle. should i be worried it will tear her tummy or intestines when on the way out. and if it hurts her inside how will ikno? thzzxx

Definitely call your Doc or Health Visitor and see what they advise.
Reply:U better take her to the hosipital straight away, but it may come out from her stool too, my younger sister eat a button when she was 8 month, my mum took her to the hosiptial, nothing wrong with her, and a few days later it come out from her stool!!!
Reply:I think you should call the doctor and see what they say.
Reply:How old ? I would feel better if you called your baby%26#039;s doctor their is always a doc or nurse on call there are never any stupid questions when it comes to your childs health and safety, The doctor and nurses staffed have more then likely dealt with this before kids put stuff in their mouths all the time. After you see to your baby go thru your house and put all %26quot;bite size%26quot; things that can harm your child out of reach.
Reply:If you think it is too big for her too pass it would be best to take her too the hospital/docs better too be safe than sorry

Im not sure where you live but try and ring Health direct they are qualified nurses they are there 24/7 number is 1800 022 222
Reply:No, I would not worry. Simply look for it to come out the other end, but don%26#039;t freak out or worry too much, it will most likely pass through just fine.

If you find blood in her poop, then I would worry and call the Dr, but I am sure she will be fine!

Baby shower CD? Song Suggestions with this meaning?

I%26#039;m in the process of planning a baby shower for my girlfriend.

It is likely going to be small and intimate.

I%26#039;ve decided that the guests will each receive a %26quot;doggy bag%26quot; with the materials we%26#039;ll need for the games, and things like that, and I%26#039;d like to make a CD that we will play over the course of the evening of song dedications to the mother-to-be (and baby girl).

What I%26#039;m looking for are R%26amp;B, Soul and Reggae songs that hold the themes of pride for girls and women. Or about a precious daughter.

Like I said, she%26#039;s having a baby girl, so some examples I have so far are:

%26quot;Beautiful Flower%26quot; - india.arie

(%26#039;You can heal the world with your mind)

%26quot;Darling girl%26quot; - Yolanda Adams

(%26#039;Found out you%26#039;re my darling girl, don%26#039;t you know you changed my world...%26#039;)

%26quot;Thank you Mama%26quot; - Sizzla

(%26#039; Thank you mama for the nine months you carried me through... all those pain and suffering.)

There are similar questions on Y!A, so I%26#039;ll check them out too.

Thanks in advance!

Colour themes- flowers?

Hi there, my fiance and I are getting married next august and have decided on a blue colour theme, so we%26#039;ll be ranging from the very pale to fairly dark. Now apart from blues and whites can anyne recommend any flower colours (or types of flower) that I can include, I just can%26#039;t think. Thought a baby pink might be pretty...

Colour themes- flowers?
Gypsophila or Baby%26#039;s Breath is tiny frothy and white sprays and in the Victorian Language of Flowers it symbolised %26#039;Everlasting love%26#039; and %26#039;the pure in heart%26#039;, its available in August too.

This would provide a nice backdrop for pink roses, also the right season, which symbolise %26#039;happiness perfected%26#039; in the language of flowers. Also roses were the traditional flower of weddings from roman times and their petals were sprinkled over the bridal bed as an aphrodisiac.

So hows that for a starter, a bit of good symbolism as well as colour for your wedding.

By the way the best wishes to you both for a happy, loving and enduring future; and a fabulous wedding day too.
Reply:In the colour spectrum, blue is regarded as a %26quot;cold%26quot; colour. Blues and %26quot;baby pink%26quot; are fine for an expected baby or a Christening, but not for a wedding. Think of the main theme of the wedding, is it formal, family friendly, or a fun day of celebration? What colour is your gown, your attendants gowns? Will you share the same flower design? How big is the venue? How much are you prepared to spend? Is the Church to be decorated? Also, is the same theme to be used on parents, groom and ushers etc? This is about so much more than a %26quot;blue colour theme%26quot;. Best advice? Save your money on all the fancy trappings and concentrate on having a wonderful day with your family and friends. Do it on the cheap, if more couples put as much effort into their marriage as they do in to their weddings they might last longer. A good wedding is but one day, a good marriage is for a lifetime. Sorry if I have burst your bubble, but get things into perspective hun. No wonder so many men call it off at the last lap, the %26quot;wedding%26quot; can often appear more important than them. Good luck, I wish you both many happy years together, just remember what and who are most important. xxxx
Reply:yellow would be pretty with blue and white. Light pink would also be good. Types of flowers- yellow roses, white roses, white lillies, yellow or white calla lillies, blue roses (roses can be died to a certain color), iris (come in yellow, blue, white and combos of colors on one flower).
Reply:you could try lilacs and deeper shades of purple and creams match well , go for things like cream roses and cornflowers or cream roses and forget me nots in small bunches have a lovely aroma and look gorgeous simply tied with ribbon ..or even introduce silver into the colour scheme ..ad crystal stems to your flowers etc
Reply:have a look at this good advice and a huge mood board of bouquets!

and they have a couple of blue based ones here

http://glamourousgowns.wordpress.com/wed...
Reply:a blue theme? blue seems so sad and depressing. your wedding day is suppose to be the best day of your life.. make the color theme something bright and cheerful.. yellow. pink. something more happy then blue..
Reply:Yellow would look nice. I think I would stay away from the baby pink because that wouldn%26#039;t look nice with the darker blues.
Reply:Violets?, Bluebells?
Reply:use some cute yellow flowers... or mix yellow and pink... theyll really pop out against all this blue!
Reply:gerberas
Reply:lillies
Reply:yellow ,pink ,peach,red
Reply:maybe orchids or white roses.

Can wild baby bunnies be kept alive without their mother?

I found wild baby bunnies that were in a nest in my flower bed,but no sight of the mother, should I bring them in and try to feed them,or will the mother come back? It is raining,I%26#039;m afraid they will get wet.

Can wild baby bunnies be kept alive without their mother?
Wild mother rabbits may only visit the nest a couple times per day so that is why you will probably never see her. So do NOT touch the babies and leave them there. You do not want to leave a scent trail to the nest for predators to follow. Rain is part of nature and if rain would hurt all baby bunnies then we wouldn%26#039;t have so many rabbits. I wouldn%26#039;t worry about the rain as long as the area isn%26#039;t going to flood. Stay away or the mother rabbit won%26#039;t come back in your presence and then the babies might die.

If you really think there is a problem, see this link to find a rehabber in your area: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~devo0028/contact....

I suggest you call a rehabber before doing anything. Whatever you do, DO NOT attempt to feed them. So many baby rabbits die from well meaning people trying to help. They should ONLY be fed by someone experienced. They can easily inhale liquids if not done right and a sudden change of formula can cause diarrea and death!!!!
Reply:Bravo to A1973, she said it all perfectly.
